Dream Teams win championships

As I watched my daughters cheerleading team compete in a cheerleading competition, I could tell that it takes a team to make a dream a reality. During the competition it was easy to see who the best team was. There was a team called Extreme, my daughter worships that team. That team has won a number of championships, she new them all by name, she follows them on the internet. During this competition she had a chance to meet some of the players, but was to scared to approach them. Immediately my mind took note of the thing that keeps most of us shackled in mediocrity, that thing is FEAR. Susan Jeffers wrote a book feel the fear and do it anyway. When there is something positive we are trying to do with our lives, we must feel the fear and do it anyway. My daughter lost the chance to interview the champions because she felt fearful, don't allow fear to cause you to lose the championship. Feel the fear and do it anyway.

sex kills

The more I live the more I understand the power of sex. If used in an unhealthy manner sex kills. Take it form me someone who has been under the spell of sex for at least 30 years. Because of my willful neglect of the things I had been taught, I ran to sex to be my medication for any anxiety I faced in life. If I didn't play well in basketball games, I could run to sex, if my marriage was topsy turvey I ran to sex, sex for me was the cure all it was, my fix, and my high.
Sex outside of marriage is destroying our families, our homes, and our careers. My life has been one roller coaster after another because I had refused to love instead of just having sex. Now after 21yrs of marriage most of which has been filled with infidelity, now I am learning how to be intimate with my wife. Thank God I had a wife who was willing to forgive, thank God I had someone who saw the best in me when everyone else around could only see the worst in me (song Marvin Sapp).
IF you are struggling with any life controlling issue, the first thing you must do is admit you have a problem. After you admit you have a problem, do something about it. We all have problems but some of our problems are bigger than others. Life controlling issues require help, no man is an island in an unto himself, we are all apart of the continent. Get some help. Above all don't stop fighting. Within you is the power to do anything, including over coming addictions, overcoming an abusive spouse, overcoming anything. We are made in Gods image, we can do anything. Get off of the canvas and start fighting, the battle is not given to the swift or to the strong but to him who endureth unto the end.
